Adelfi E Molina, DDS, FAGD
Graduated with her first dental degree in 1988 from P.U.C.M.M. in Dominican Republic. In 1994 she came to the United States and received her second degree in dentistry from New York University. In 1994, she joined the Bronx Lebanon Hospital and completed two years of general practice residency, where she became chief resident and became part of the attending staff until 1998.
Dr. Molina opened her office in Hackensack, NJ in 1997 and since then she has been devoted to promote and provide quality dentistry to the community. The office utilizes the latest technological procedures available such as: Laser Cosmetic Dentistry, Implant therapy, porcelain veneers, Invisalign, single visit root canals and conventional Orthodontics among others.
Jelena Urosev, DDS

Dr. Jelena is a general and cosmetic dentist skilled at making even the most anxious patients comfortable during complex cases and implants. Passionate about learning, she spends significant time away from the office at conferences and seminars sharing and learning developments in her field. Advanced training she’s undertaken includes the treatment of sleep apnea and snoring, laser and cosmetic dentistry, and surgical placement of dental implants. Her attention to detail and ability to anticipate patient needs create a comfortable atmosphere, whether you are a first time patient or have been in her chair countless times.

Dr. Jelena is a member of the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry. She graduated from New York University College of Dentistry, completed her General Practice Residency at Staten Island University Hospital, and previously practiced as a dentist in Manhattan. Originally from Serbia, she initially completed her dental education at the University of Novi Sad.
Dr. Jelena is an accomplished cook and an even more enthusiastic eater. She is an avid swimmer with several diving certifications and often spends vacations exploring new underwater locations. In the winter season, her sports activities shift to long hikes and short ski trips. A natural with kids, she is a foster parent to newborns and toddlers and lives with her family in Montclair, NJ.
Alan Jue, DMD
Dr. Alan Jue was born and raised in Toronto, Canada. He attended an accelerated Seven-year Liberal Arts and Dental program at Boston University. He then graduated Magna Cum Laude from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine.
After graduating dental school, Dr. Jue completed two years of General Practice Residency at Montefiore Medical Center. In his second year of residency, he concentrated on Endodontics and Prosthodontics including Implant rehabilitation. He was awarded the Leo M. Davidoff Society of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine for “Outstanding Achievement in the Teaching of Medical Students.”
Making a commitment to lifelong learning, Dr. Jue continues to take continuing education to further his knowledge. From full mouth reconstruction and cosmetic dentistry to surgically placing implants, he strives to provide the highest level of care to his patients. He has completed advanced clinical training required to become a Certified TeethXpress provider.
Having a passion to help others and give back to the community, Dr. Jue went to the Dominican Republic twice on dental mission trips during his residency. That is where he met and worked with Dr. Adelfi Molina for the first time. The opportunity then came for him to work at Dental Arts of Hackensack where he has been practicing since.
Dr. Jue enjoys playing ice hockey, learning to cook, traveling and spending time with family and friends.
Valerie Reyes, DMD
Dr. Valerie Reyes was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where she earned her first dental degree from P.U.C.M.M. Consequently, she attained her second degree when she graduated as a General Dentist in the United States from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
Dr. Reyes has over 10 years of combined educational and professional training in the dental field. Her knowledge, experience and passion for Dentistry keep her motivated to continue learning and providing patients with the best oral treatment available. Dr. Reyes’ scope of dental expertise encompasses such procedures as tooth extractions, root canals, restorative crown and bridge treatments, laser dentistry (Solea certified) and removable dentures.
In her spare time she loves to travel, dance, cook new recipes, work out and do outdoor activities.

Negar Tabari, DMD, MDS
Dr Negar is a board-certified pediatric dentist. She grew up accompanying her mother in her dental practice where she learned to care for patients with passion.
Dr Negar has lived in several countries throughout her life, an experience that helped her appreciate different cultures and spark friendships effortlessly.
Dr Negar received her first dental degree in Hungary and later completed two years of licensure training at Rutgers School of Dental Medicine. She then pursued her dream of becoming a pediatric dentist by completing two years of clinic and hospital based pediatric specialty program at Rutgers. Dr Negar also completed her Master’s in Dental Sciences with the focus on oral health literacy and is committed to educating parents in her area of expertise.
During residency, she won an award for her exemplary contribution to residence wellness and served as the chief resident in her final year. Dr Negar believes in connecting with children and their parents to create a safe and happy dental home, where children can have a positive experience. In her free time, Dr Negar likes staying active and connected with nature. Her favorite activities are swimming, biking and rollerblading and of course rehearsing Disney songs.
Haim Tawil, DMD
Dr. Haim Tawil is a Board Certified Orthodontist by the American Board of Orthodontics treating both children and adults at Dental Arts of Hackensack.
During his dental studies at University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Tawil concurrently undertook a Master’s degree in Biotechnology while researching dental adhesives, implant surfaces, and palatal expansion. Dr. Tawil combined his passion for dentistry and engineering by pursuing Orthodontics at Rutgers University. Incorporating his unique background with the latest research and technological advancements in his practice of orthodontics makes Dr. Tawil an integral part of the Dental Arts of Hackensack family and allows him to treat the most complex of cases. His caring demeanor, professionalism, and commitment to the ideal treatment of each patient results in excellent patient care. Dr. Tawil lives in North Jersey with his wife, a nurse, and their two daughters. Dr. Tawil enjoys family hikes, playing baseball, fishing, and collecting antique dental books.
Maria Jose De La Hoz, DDS
Dr. De La Hoz is originally from Colombia, where she completed dental school, after moving to the United States and becoming a citizen, she completed an advanced standing program at NYU to obtain the DDS. After a two-year general practice residency at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, she spent 3 more years at UMDNJ to obtain her specialty Certificate in Periodontics. Since day one in dental school, she knew she wanted to be a periodontist.
Dr. De La Hoz is currently an Attending Periodontist at BronxCare Health System, Department of Dentistry, one of largest Dental Residency Programs in the country. Her responsibilities include overseeing and teaching first and second year residents Periodontics, with emphasis on diagnosis, treatment planning and Phase I therapy and surgery. She also works in private practice to combine her passion for teaching and private practice, and keep her clinical skills current. She loves periodontics, enjoys educating and interacting with her patients.
Dr. De La Hoz Currently lives in Hunterdon County with her husband, an oral surgeon, and her daughter, who is going to college at UCCON. She has a passion for traveling, photography and spending time with her family.
Shawn Gutman, DDS
Dr. Shawn Gutman graduated from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. Feeling unfulfilled as an engineer, he changed his career path to dentistry and attended Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. After graduating with his DDS, he decided to specialize in orthodontics and stayed at Columbia to complete his three-year residency training. As a resident, Dr. Gutman was awarded the Thomas Cangialosi Award for clinical excellence. He finds that orthodontics is the perfect amalgamation of mechanical engineering and dentistry; it is a career in which he can utilize both of his educational backgrounds.
Dr. Gutman is a board-certified orthodontist. He holds a part time clinical faculty appointment at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine where he teaches the current residents. When Dr. Gutman is not perfecting his patients’ smiles, he is busy with his aquariums at home. He is an avid aquascaper and freshwater shrimp breeder.
